Well, this is my first ever blog post. I have been keeping journals for ages, but never had the idea to put them online. I don't know what changed, I guess I just feel a little lonely tonight. I went with Neocities instead of other options because I have this great fondness for old web design even though I'm gravely unfamiliar with HTML...
Tonight my girlfriend asked me to pick her up from the library. I sat and waited for her word for probably seven hours. I even showered and got all dolled up, with a cute sweater, a fresh shave, etc. Got my cute underwear on and all that. I finally met her at nine and we left- I was talking up her ear the whole time about the forecast.
She thought it was starting to rain, and she didn't bring her coat, so I was telling her about the rain after rain, like when the last few drops come out of the showerhead. It comes down from the treetops when the wind shakes them. Besides, I knew it wouldn't rain because I can smell it before it starts. Maybe I rambled a little too much because she didn't want me coming inside when we eventually got to her place.
On the way back-- alone-- I passed a big group of frat boys. I wanted to approach and say "gentlemen," like a suave stranger, but I couldn't force myself to. I wish I could tell you that I did, but I didn't. Instead, I came home and made this website.
